Job Description

Job Purpose:Execute the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure within AlRajhi United, including servers, terminals, server applications and software, the physical network (e.g., LANs/WANs, Servers, Firewalls, VoIP, Security, Terminals) as well as server applications and software (e.g. Dynamics AX). Configure, install, maintain and? upgrade server applications and hardware. Support on the project of a Microsoft ERP system (Dynamics AX)? within the area of responsibility.?Principle Accountabilities:

  1. IT SolutionsAdministers the IT infrastructure within ALRAJHI UNITED, including the physical network (e.g., LANs/WANs, Servers, Terminals) as well as server applications and software (e.g., Microsoft ERP system (Dynamics AX)). Configures, installs, maintains and upgrades computer systems hardware and software.
  2. Risk Management and IT Security Administers and maintains security of operating systems. Restores files or systems by designing, writing and implementing back-up procedures.
  3. IT Administration Provides operational support for ALRAJHI UNITED information systems and peripheral equipment such as application servers, database servers, web servers, desktops, printers and storage devices. Administers database utilities, monitors the relationships between the database users and applications, and maintains the organizations databases across multiple platforms and computing environments.
  4. Technical Support Provides technical support to ALRAJHI UNITEDs internal users of computer applications and hardware (e.g., PCs, Servers, Mainframes). Collaborates with network services, software systems engineering and/or application development in order to restore service and/or identify problems. Answers questions regarding system procedures, systems status and downtime procedures.
  5. ERP System Supports the project of a Microsoft ERP system (Dynamics AX) implementation within the area of responsibility.
  6. IT Solutions Supports on short and long term IT solutions that meet the needs of the organization. Optimizes the organizations technology resources and recommends future technology direction and new technology initiatives. Researches and identifies new and emerging technologies that will enhance the organizations operating efficiency and support enhanced customer service and revenue growth.
