Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Inventory Planner to join our team. As an Inventory Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels are maintained and accurately forecasting demand. This role is crucial in maintaining a smooth supply chain process and ensuring customer satisfaction.Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain accurate forecasts for product demand based on historical data, market trends, and sales projections
  • Develop inventory optimization strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data related to inventory levels, production capacity, and supply chain efficiency
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to prevent shortages or excess inventory
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any delivery issues
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and take appropriate corrective actions
  • Analyze demand patterns and adjust inventory levels accordingly to meet customer demand while minimizing costs
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Planner or in a similar role
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and excellent knowledge of inventory forecasting techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with a strong attention to accuracy and precision
