SummaryPerforms painting and varnishing works including installation of wall paper and other related works.Essential Responsibilities and Duties1. Performs all related painting works including installation, replacement and repair of wall paper, repainting and retouching of walls, doors, varnishing and re-varnishing of furniture, tinting of windows and other related corrective.2. Receives work details from Supervisor or skilled tradesmen.3. Assists senior technicians in requesting needed materials and other equipment to be used in the project sites for the completion of required works.4. Prepares tools, materials and other equipment to be used in the project sites.5. Assists skilled tradesmen in painting work and preparation of finishing works such as: applying primer, sealer, levelling the surface, sanding, etc.6. Follows all prescibed safety procedures.7. Follows all hospital-related policies an procedures.8. Participates in self and others education, training and development, as applicable.EducationAssociate Degree/ Diploma, or High School with Vocational Training is required.Experience RequiredNo experience isrequired with the Associate Degree/ Diploma, or one (1) year of relatedexperience with High School is required.Other Requirements(Certificates)N/A.
