Job Description

The Insurance Specialist is responsible for managing the companys insurance programs, including risk assessment, policy development, and claims management. This involves analyzing the companys insurance needs, identifying appropriate insurance coverage, and working with insurance providers to negotiate policies and premiums.Responsibilities:

  • Assess the companys insurance needs and recommend appropriate insurance coverage
  • Develop and implement insurance policies and procedures that align with the companys goals and values
  • Monitor and analyze insurance trends and develop strategies to mitigate risk
  • Manage the companys insurance programs, including property and casualty insurance, liability insurance, and employee benefits programs
  • Negotiate insurance policies and premiums with insurance providers
  • Monitor and evaluate insurance claims and work with insurance providers to ensure timely and accurate payment
  • Provide guidance and support to other departments on insurance-related matters
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes as a member of the senior management team
