Job Description

DescriptionThe Head of IT Infrastructure is responsible for the implementation and operations of all technology infrastructures which includes data centre, network and server services, telephony, service monitoring, user support/help desk, workstation management, servers, storage and related software. This position is operationally responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, and security for all IT systems and infrastructure.Key Responsibilities

  1. Managing overall IT infrastructure day to day operations to improve infrastructure costs, performance and end user satisfaction.
  2. Ensuring the system performance and SLAs are met.
  3. Manage IT resource requirements to ensure appropriate balance between tactical and strategic demands.
  4. Lead IT asset management team to ensure assets full lifetime cycle value is achieved.
  5. Support IT Manager in leading the technology infrastructure strategy and execution for the enterprise.
  6. Planning, project management and implementation leadership, identifying opportunities for automation, cost savings, and service quality improvement.
  7. Provides infrastructure services vision, enabling innovation and seeking to leverage IT trends that can create business value consistent with the company?s requirements and expectations.
  8. Development, application and compliance of enterprise standards and technology architecture and the IT operations governance process.
  9. Conduct product and vendor evaluations ensuring best in class technologies and partners.
  10. Participate in the formulation of the companys enterprise architecture and business system plans; assessing cost and feasibility, and ensuring the plan is aligned with and supports the strategic goals of the business.
  11. Hands-on technical depth enables direct oversight, problem-solving leadership and participation for complex infrastructure implementation, system upgrades and operational troubleshooting.
  12. Experience with comprehensive disaster recovery architecture and operations, including storage area network and redundant, highly-available server and network architectures.
  13. Leadership for delivery of 24/7 service operations and KPI compliance.
  14. Facilitate communication between management, IT staff and other departments to ensure effective approach toward successful implementation.
  15. Develop, implement and direct an organization-wide information security plan that protects the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the authority?s data, systems and servers; and in compliance with Cyber Security department.
  16. Support the information and technology risk assessment, risk management, and business continuity plans; and in compliance with Cyber Security department.
