We are looking for HSE EngineerWork Location: Al-Khafji Joint Operations (KJO) – Offshore FacilitiesContract Type: Long-Term Maintenance ContractJob Summary:The HSE Engineer is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and international regulations during offshore operations. The role focuses on minimizing risks, preventing incidents, and promoting a strong safety culture on offshore facilities and vessels.Key Responsibilities:Implement and maintain HSE management systems for offshore projects and operationsEnsure compliance with international, national, and client HSE regulations (e.g., IMO, OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001)Conduct offshore HSE inspections, audits, and safety toursIdentify hazards and perform risk assessments (JSA, HAZID, HAZOP)Monitor and report on safety performance, incidents, near misses, and environmental impactsInvestigate accidents and incidents; prepare root cause analysis and corrective action plansProvide HSE training, toolbox talks, and safety inductions for offshore personnelEnsure proper use of PPE and adherence to safe working practicesReview and approve method statements, lifting plans, and permit-to-work systemsLiaise with offshore management, clients, and regulatory authorities on HSE mattersMonitor waste management, spill prevention, and environmental protection measuresMaintain accurate HSE documentation and reportsQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related fieldCore HSE experience preferably in oil & gas, marine, or offshore construction & maintenanceStrong knowledge of offshore safety regulations and industry standardsValid offshore certifications such as:BOSIET / HUETNEBOSH IGC or equivalentH2S (where applicable)Experience with PTW systems and emergency response proceduresExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to work rotational offshore schedulesSkills & Competencies:Risk assessment and hazard identificationIncident investigation and reportingEmergency response and crisis managementStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and proactive safety mindsetAbility to influence and promote safety cultureWorking Conditions:Offshore rotational work (e.g., 14/14, 28/28)Exposure to marine and offshore environmentsEmployment Details:Client: Khafji Joint Operations (KJO)Contract Type: Full-time, Project-based (Maintenance Services for Offshore Production Facilities)Location: Khafji / OffshoreNote: Offshore work experience shall be an added advantage.Candidates with Immediate joining are preferred.Basic salary per month will be 3000 USD
