Title:HSE EngineerLOCATIONRiyadh, Saudi Arabiaproject descriptionThe project is a major infrastructure programme for a mixed-use development aiming to be a global landmark recognized for its unique vision and position as an authentic destination in Riyadh. The community will be a distinct, self-sustaining hub for Riyadh offering several iconic assets. KBR will provide Project Management Consultancy services in project planning, controls, design and engineering management, and implementation of the development and early works packages.THE ROLEReporting to the KBR HSE Director and responsible for the oversight and management of the Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental performance of the programme.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• In conjunction with the Construction Supervision Consultant (CSC) and the Main Contractor, maintain the Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management System and Policy.
• Review the Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Functional Management Plans and procedures prepared by each CSC and Main Contractor for compliance with the Client Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management System, Policies, and requirement.
• Support the CSC and Main Contractors in the implementation of the Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Systems, Policies and Procedures.
• Monitor the performance of CSC and Main Contractors with respect to Occupational Health, Safety and Environment.
• Provide leadership and direction to Construction Managers and Professional staff within the programme team on Occupational Health, Safety and Environment related matters.
• Prepare formal Audit Plans and carry out audits accordingly.
• Interface with Regulatory HSE Bodies.
• Collation, Analysing and reporting of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Statistics.
• In conjunction with the CSC and Main Contractors develop and implement action plans to improve Occupational Health, Safety and Environment performance.
• Ensure that the Project KBR Team is within compliance with the KBR Corporate and Internal requirements.

• Batchelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalate.
• Minimum 10 years overall experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role.
• Minimum 5 years working experience in Middle East
• Strong and proven leadership skills.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Experience of working with a multi-nationality team.
• Computer literacy.
• Innovation Skills.
• Arabic speaking advantageous.

• Experience of major projects in the Middle East (preferred).
• Full Driving License.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Standards.
• HSE specialist experience.
