Housekeeping SupervisorResponsibilities and Accountabilities:- Ensure that all rooms, corridors, stairs, service pantries, fire exits, back of house areas, foyers, seating areas, waiting areas and other areas are maintained and cleaned according to Standard Operation- Train all staff, observe weakness areas and improve accordingly- Follow the Housekeeping daily action plan, distribute staff and assign duties- Check the maintenance of the equipment used by the staff and ensure that it is cleaned and stored correctly- Ensure that all vacuuming, polishing, carpet care, general cleaning is done in a professional manner and according to established schedule- Build positive and productive working relationships with customers, subordinates and superiors- Perform (On Job and Off Job) training to all Housekeepers to ensure staff is well trained on tasks- Assign duties to workers and inspect already completed tasks so as to ensure compliance with already stated housekeeping standards- Make recommendations to help improve housekeeping services within the organizationSkillsPosition Requirements ? Education, Experience & Competencies:Must be able to communicate effectively and clearly at all timesMust have excellent interpersonal skills to be able to get along well with co-workers and customers/clientsMust be willing and able to work as part of a team or even lead a team when called upon to do soMust have good coordination and organizational abilitiesMust be someone that is trustworthy/honest.
