Job Description

Role PurposeEnsure effective and timely processing of inbound bad address shipments. Making sure all shipments are investigated and resolved in the shortest possible time.Accountabilities

  • System Management / Reporting
To have a good command on HIC (DHL Application) in order to enter BAD addresses shipments accurately and timely in the system. Ensuring all shipments are scanned with appropriate checkpoint and comments on daily basis until it is hold in operation.
  • Shipment Processing
Liaise with base operation to ensure all bad address shipments get sorted to Undeliverable department. Contact consignee and Shipper (in case of domestic shipments) to obtain detail addresses. Print and attach MAPS labels with complete address to the shipments and forward to courier followed by the update in the system.
  • Tracing / Escalation
Escalate to international origins of unresolved international shipments through GEMA (DHL Application) and follow up on daily basis.
  • MAPS Update
Ensure all the new addresses, which are obtained after consignee contact get update in the MAPS for future reference.Competencies

  • Education High Secondary Education.
  • Experience At least 2 years experience working as courier or base operation.
  • Technical Knowledge/Skills
  • Good English (written and spoken). Good local and international geographical knowledge. Computer literacy preferrable. HIC (Dhl Application) usage and its functions.
