Job Description

Our ClientAn international managed service provider in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Head of DevOps to oversee their Cloud Practice.Key Responsibilities

  • Creating technical solution to specific business problems and requirements within the companys business strategy and considering the companys Enterprise Architecture roadmap
  • Providing solution in line with Agile and DevOps oriented project delivery
  • Defining Technology Roadmap and governing technology portfolio from Enterprise/Digital Application Architecture perspective
  • Design, build, and deliver cloud computing solutions, hosted services, and underlying software infrastructure.
  • Take full ownership of the DevOps discipline and be responsible for managing all server/infrastructure related issues.
  • Must exhibit a high level end-to-end understanding of web application design, construction, testing, deployment, and delivery
  • Manage teams of engineers as well as 3rd party contractors
  • Understand client needs and provide relevant solutions in a timely manner
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the field of Solution/Digital Architecture
  • Expert in one or more Application Performance Monitoring tools: NewRelic, Dynatrace, App dynamics.
  • As part ofthe DevOps team you will be responsible for configuration, optimization, documentation and support of the infrastructure components of BOLD products which are hosted in cloud services such as AWS
  • Experience inDocker Containers,automating container image creation process,build and deployment in a container environment.
  • Good hands-on experience in any of theContainer SchedulerslikeKubernetes.
  • Must have experience in scaling up delivery teams (reviewing profiles, conducting interviews etc.)
  • Strong experience managing teams of up to 30 (including 3rd party subcontractors)
  • A track record of delivering projects to customers on time and within budget
