Summary: Our client is seeking a Head of Airport Architecture & Engineering to lead growth in the aviation architecture and engineering design practice globally. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing key client relationships in collaboration with Aviation group, leading & winning major pursuits and acting the project lead on major projects. The Head of Aviation Architecture & Engineering will be instrumental in the successful development, implementation, and delivery of major aviation terminal programs globally. Job Duties: Planning, organizing, and implementing all strategic business development activities for the Airport Architecture & Engineering practice. Contributing to the development of the strategic growth plan. Working with projects specialist Global Aviation group to develop key new and existing client relationships. Conducting business development to secure new projects. This includes identifying and tracking pursuits, leading go/no go decisions for key pursuits, participating in and/or leading proposals and giving presentations to potential clients. Representing the company in local, regional, and national professional associations and conferences. Providing thought leadership ideas internally and externally. Participating in the Buildings + Places Global Executive Team. Leading and coordinating Regional Architecture & Engineering leaders. Identifying and sharing best practice globally. Leading and coordinating B+P Airport Architecture & Engineering resources globally. Establishing and sustaining relationships with key partners and consultants to support growth of the Airport Architecture & Engineering practice. Act as Project Lead on specific strategic/key projects. Minimum Qualifications: At least a bachelors degree in architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or related discipline plus 15+ years of experience in aviation projects. At least 10 years of demonstrated leadership experience in the aviation sector. Experience in leading growth through sales and business development. Proven ability to successfully develop deep client relationships and win work. Ability to manage multiple projects of a complex scope.
