Contribute to the development and implementation of an effective Procurement strategy ensuring alignment to group strategy, vision, mission and corporate objectives.
Regularly report to the Head of Procurement systems, Governance and compliance on procedure progress, enhancements and , challenges and issues faced, mitigations taken, etc. as required, to keep them informed and updated on the department?s activities and progress.
Compliance & Continuous Monitoring
Develop a frame work encompassing all aspects of Continuous monitoring and ensure that it is updated frequently and in line with IMS requirements
Ensure continuous review of established procedures to optimize and increase the enabling functions efficiency.
Ensure and/or assure complete adherence to legal and compliance in all the established procurement procedures and systems.
Ensure that it has in all instances the right talent at the right place and continuously nurture talent for growth.
Contribute to the definition of Group wide policies, standards, frameworks, processes and methods for all types of Procurement.
Ensure complete roll out and implementation of Procurement procedures across ACWAPOWER Group as applicable.
Periodic training on Procurement procedures including CM tool to all stakeholders.
Carry out periodic sample checks to confirm adherence of transactions to laid out procedures.
Ensure full compliance and proactiveness by carrying out continuous monitoring and reporting of exceptions
Leading the procurement continuous monitoring program: ensuring appropriate feedback is received on exceptions; exceptions are effectively resolved or escalated for further action; identifying new areas for monitoring to enhance coverage.
Publish finalized exception reports through Power BI or excel to the different procurement managers
Following up on continuous monitoring actions that arise from the exception reports
Developing and/or proposing pragmatic process changes based on insights from the continuous monitoring program
Identify areas of improvement, course corrections, facilitate implementation of the process improvements by engaging / training the process owners
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs, locate and define new process improvement opportunities
Supporting effective implementation and compliance of procurement procedures in new geographies the group enters.
Health, Safety, Security and Environment
Direct the compliance of all relevant health, safety and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the function and in all sourcing and procurement contracts to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and a responsible environmental attitude.

Needs to work closely with Head of Central Procurement, Head of Strategic procurement , PEO, SC Regional Heads , Global delivery centre, Digital, Internal Auditors, Finance Team etc.
