Job Description

Sihamco, a leading restaurant in the Food & Beverages industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef specializing in Asian Cuisine. This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team and showcase your culinary artistry.As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Asian Cuisine menu, ensuring the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality. You will work closely with our kitchen staff to develop innovative and exciting dishes that cater to the diverse palates of our customers.Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurants Asian Cuisine menu
  • Supervise kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and plate presentation
  • Develop and maintain recipes and menus that adhere to our high standards and customer expectations
  • Ensure consistency in taste, portion size, and food appearance
  • Manage food costs, inventory, and wastage to maximize profitability
  • Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in an Asian Cuisine restaurant
  • In-depth knowledge of Asian cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences
  • Relevant culinary certifications or degree from an accredited culinary school
