ROLE AIM
  • The Ground Handler position has a clear mission of ensuring all departmental SOPs are always followed as per the training received during their initial induction.
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
  • Safekeeping of all company property.
  • Strict implementation of The Company Security procedures.
  • Constantly seek ways of risk mitigation and improvements of all the above.
  • Departure and arrival procedures of aircraft.
  • Aircraft servicing
  • Exterior cleaning
  • Interior cleaning
  • Aircraft marshaling
  • Aircraft towing
  • Cleaning and maintenance of all floating platforms operated by the company.
  • Cleaning and maintaining all Aircraft Boats operated by The Company.
  • Cleaning and maintaining in an operational condition all other GSEs used and assigned to them as part of their induction procedures.
  • Assisting passengers during embarkation and while the aircraft is deplaning.
  • Ensure passengers are aware of all the safety equipment present on board the aircraft and can operate the doors in case of an emergency.
  • Ensure that all passenger baggage Is properly loaded and secured inside the cabin.
  • Ensure that passengers accessing the aircraft on a floating platform are abiding by all safety precautions to avoid any accidents.
  • The GH shall ensure before starting their shift that the Emergency Response equipment is available and in good working condition.
  • The GH shall consistently survey their working environment for any potential hazards and rectify (if possible) and report them accordingly.
  • Any other duties that aim to the achievement of the department objectives within individual competencies.
  • Report to the hierarchy any hazards, non-compliances, and risks whether to employees or the company.
  • Comply with local, and national legislations and health & safety standards
  • Comply with Company policies, values, and ethics
  • Display positive, open, and cooperative behavior
