Job Description

Overview / ResponsibilitiesWood is currently recruiting for a Graphic Designer to join our REI - Environmental Consultancy team in Al Khobar, KSA.Key Responsibilities:

  • Creates designs for a diverse array of projects such as web, advertisements, signage, etc. adhering to Woods brand guidelines.
  • Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for executive presentation using company logos, color codes templates and websites
  • Determining size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size
  • Effectively researches and completes all projects
  • Has knowledge and usage experience of design elements, color, ad composition
  • Follow account manager?s and/or clients art direction
  • Communicates clearly with clients about design elements and projects
  • Keeps account manager informed on all project designs and timelines
  • Understands and follows company standards when preparing vendor files
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Manages a wide variety of projects in a fast-paced work environment
  • Makes decisions within broad parameters
  • Acts as an informal resource for others with less experience
Skills / QualificationsKnowledge, skills and experience:
  • Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English
  • Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
  • Familiarity with main design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of Engineering, Consultancy and Enivronmental Services is preferable
  • Able to apply knowledge and experience to complex problems and develop recommendations.
