Job Description

What You Will Be Responsible ForAs State Street Saudi Arabia Financial Solutions - Governance Manager, Vice President, you will be accountable for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of effective policies, procedures and controls in accordance with local laws and State Street requirements.Specifically, you will:

  • Implement and maintain outsourcing and third-party management program to meet regulatory and firm policy requirements
  • Ensure effective oversight and monitoring processes and controls across all phases of the outsourcing lifecycle
  • Implement and manage a robust process for the maintenance of a comprehensive inventory of all internal and external outsourcing arrangements
  • Assess and report new/existing Conflicts of Interest and escalate to internal stakeholders, STT Committees or Board where required
  • Create and maintain the SSSAFS Conflict of Interest register and ensure applicable Conflict of Interest disclosures are made timely and accurately
  • Manage and monitor complaint handling with internal/external parties in line with local requirements
  • Maintain inventory of local procedures and policies owned within the First Line of Defence (FLOD)
  • Ensure Business Management maintain local procedures and controls to support products and services offered by the entity
  • Ensure applicable Business Continuity plans are adequately documented with evidence of testing and reporting to Executives/Board Members
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to a broad range of stakeholders on Outsourcing, Conflicts of Interest and Complaint Handling requirements
  • Provide Board or governance related management information and reporting, where required
  • Drive remediation and continuous improvement programs in collaboration with global and local stakeholders
  • Monitor new/existing legal documentation, to ensure client data is accurately and completely stored within STT inventories
  • Act in an advisory capacity, to ensure all Board and Committee charters are in line with local regulatory and STT policy requirements

Education & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in relevant field
  • Compliance, AML or Risk professional qualifications are preferred
Capital Market Authority (CMA) qualification exams
