Job Description

Persistence Recruitment is a leading recruitment agency specializing in sourcing top-tier talent for the most significant projects in Saudi Arabia, including the USD $17 billion Sovereign Fund Tourism and Culture Giga-Project led by the Public Investment Fund(PIF). We are currently seeking a dynamic GIS Project Manager to lead the Government Services Stream within our GIS projects team.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a GIS Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Data Collection, Analysis, and Interpretation:
  • Overseeing the collection and analysis of GIS data related to government services
  • Interpreting data insights to inform decision-making processes
  • Integration with eServices:
  • Collaborating with various departments to seamlessly integrate GIS data into eServices and digital platforms
  • Database Management:
  • Maintaining and updating GIS databases to ensure data accuracy and relevancy
  • Managing GIS maps to reflect the latest geographical information
  • Project Management:
  • Leading GIS projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
  • Managing project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:Education:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in GIS, Geography, Geospatial Sciences, or related field
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in GIS project management, preferably within government or large-scale projects
  • Proven track record of successful GIS data collection, analysis, and integration
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in GIS software and tools
  • Strong data interpretation and analysis skills
  • Knowledge of eServices integration is an advantage
Project Management
  • Excellent project management skills, including budget and resource management
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Communication
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Arabic language proficiency is a plus
