Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting detailed site investigations, analyzing soil and rock mechanics, and providing recommendations for construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of geotechnical projects and contribute to the success of our clients.Responsibilities

  • Conduct site investigations to assess geotechnical conditions
  • Perform and analyze soil and rock mechanics laboratory tests
  • Develop geotechnical design recommendations for construction projects
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure geotechnical considerations are incorporated into designs and plans
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with geotechnical specifications
  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
  • Strong knowledge of soil and rock mechanics principles
  • Proficient in using geotechnical software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience in conducting geotechnical investigations and field testing
  • Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards
