Hiring: General Manager for ProjectsCompany: Arkan Al-Afdal Contracting CompanyLocation: Riyadh, KSA (with oversight of projects across Saudi Arabia)Nationality: Arab Nationals Only (any non Arab application for this post shall be blocked from our platform permanently)Arkan Al-Afdal Contracting Company is seeking a highly experienced and strategic General Manager for Projects to provide leadership and oversight for all ongoing infrastructure, maintenance, and rehabilitation projects.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale projects for prestigious clients such as the National Water Company (NWC) and the National Housing Company (NHC).Key Responsibilities:•Provide strategic direction and leadership for all company projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.•Oversee Project Managers and ensure timely, budget-compliant, and quality delivery of infrastructure, maintenance, and rehabilitation projects.•Serve as the primary liaison for key clients (e.g., NWC, NHC), fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.•Develop and implement project management frameworks, policies, and best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.•Monitor financial performance, budgets, and resource allocation across all projects to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness.•Ensure strict adherence to KSA regulations, health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.•Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize disruptions and ensure seamless execution.•Drive business growth by identifying new project opportunities and contributing to proposal development.Key Requirements:•Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree or PMP certification is highly preferred).•10-15 years of progressive experience in project management, with expertise in infrastructure, maintenance, and rehabilitation projects.•Proven experience working with NWC, NHC, or similar government/utility clients.•Strong financial acumen with experience managing large budgets and ensuring project profitability.•Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.•In-depth knowledge of KSA building codes, HSE regulations, and industry best practices.•Fluency in Arabic and English.We Offer:•Salary Package: 18,000 - 22,000 SAR (Based on experience and qualifications)•A senior leadership role with overall responsibility for the company’s project portfolio.•Opportunities to work on high-impact projects with prestigious clients.•A competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.Note: Applications not meeting the above criteria will be considered irrelevant.
