Job Description

We provide a full range of design, engineering and project management services for buildings, transportation and other infrastructure programmesAtkins in the Middle East now employs around 2,000 staff serving Gulf clients across all market sectors from offices in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Doha, Dubai, Jeddah, Kuwait City, Manama, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah.We now seek to recruit a FM Supervisor to to oversee all building-related activities. You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well-functioning. The ideal candidate will be well-organized andable to optimize the use of space and equipment while reducing operating costs. Leadership abilities and phenomenal efficiency can set you apart among our candidate pool. The goal is to ensure our business?s accommodation is problem-free and safe so that employees can work under the best conditions.PurposeTo assist with the provision of a successful and proactive FM Supervisor in Jeddah for part of the SNC-Lavalin Saudi Arabia, Middle East business.Responsibilities

  • To supervise, coordinate and control all activities of maintenance, refurbishment/Modifications, and construction /Installations /commissioning/ testing of Equipment/buildings/system. The activities include wide range equipment/system/building associated with different disciplines such as HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Civil.
  • To ensure that Plant preventive maintenance activities are carried out as per theschedule.
  • To troubleshoot the premature / unusual failure of thesystem.
  • To carry out root cause analysis of theproblems.
  • To ensure all the field activities are carried out as per Safetystandards.
  • To provide work directions to support partner and contractor staffs and ensure that all activities confirm to client policies and procedures and accepted technical standards.
  • To remain up to date in the respective field ofengineering.
  • To co-ordinate cohesive functioning of various maintenance sections to ensure a high degree of reliability/availability? of equipment and facilities.
Requirements
  • Fluent in Arabic and English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suit
  • Proven experience as facilities Management supervisor or relevant position.
  • Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Saudi national
