Policies & Procedures:?˙Adhere to policies, processes and procedures related to the branch in order to maintain the correct practices and procedures at all times.Day-to-day Operations:?˙Prepare the drivers? schedule to ensure delivery of shipment as per the consignment plan and report any delays along with the cause of delay to guarantee the optimization of manpower hours and cost efficiency.?˙Coordinate with clients? dispatchers to communicate delivery times and any specific instructions in relation to offloading.?˙Ensure all loading and offloading is performed accurately, in accordance with safety requirements, policies and procedures.?˙Inspect all trucks for damage and make sure that all trucks have the required equipment in good condition, and attend any calls related to breakdowns, arranging the necessary repairs and informing all relevant parties to ensure the reliability and safety of equipment.Work Planning:?˙Guarantee the effective planning/scheduling of the movement of vehicles through driver scheduling and routing while ensuring accurate record keeping of related matters (such as way bills, incidents, etc.) in order to meet operations requirements and business objectives.Continuous Improvement:?˙Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ?international best practice?, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
