Job Description

Our ClientA large scale real estate development project in Saudi Arabia have an exciting newly created opportunity for a Financial Controller to join their team.Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the Accounting, Treasury & Tax Compliance function through the effectiveness of the accounting and tax compliance management
  • Manage the review of financial reports, such as profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements and to ensure alignment with business objectives and goals
  • Lead treasury tasks such as cash flow, borrowings, and allocating cash balances, as well as maintaining investment records and forecasting expense earnings
  • Developing risk management strategies and policies for various risks, including market risk, liquidity and cash flow risk, and credit risk in coordination with Risk Management department in order to minimize risks
  • Manage the consolidation and recommend the divisional budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget to identify any variances or performance improvement areas
  • Develop and lead the implementation of divisional policies, systems, processes, procedures, and controls so that all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements are fulfilled
Your Qualifications
  • Qualified accountant (CA/CPA/CMA) with at least 10-15 years experience in accounting and tax compliance
  • A real estate development background is preferred
  • Experience in KSA/the GCC is preferred
  • Experience in leading an ERP implementation (e.g. SAP)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are essential
