Job Description

Job Summary:As the Feed Mill Quality Control Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the quality control processes within our feed manufacturing facilities. Your primary objective is to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of feed manufacturing processes, attention to detail, and strong leadership skills.ÿKey Responsibilities:1- Quality Control Management:

  • Develop and implement robust quality control procedures for all stages of feed production.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
2- Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of quality control professionals, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the quality control team.
3- Regulatory Compliance:
  • Stay current with industry regulations and standards related to feed manufacturing.
  • Ensure that the feed mill operates in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
4- Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Collect and analyze data related to product quality and process efficiency.
  • Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
5- Supplier and Vendor Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials used in feed production.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to uphold quality standards.
6- Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains in the feed production process.
  • Implement best practices and technological solutions to enhance quality control processes.
7- Emergency Response:
  • Develop and implement contingency plans for quality issues, including recalls, and participate in crisis management when needed.
