We are looking for someone who can develop and implement FII Institutes global sustainability agenda focusing on environmental, social and governance (ESG).About the FII InstituteThe FII Institute is a new class of hybrid think tank/foundation with the mission of developing technologies to address the biggest social and environmental challenges. With an ambitious vision to empower the brightest minds to shape a better future for ALL and with ALL, the FII Institute brings together global leaders and experts to collectively curate and enable concrete ideas that can solve todays most pressing societal issues while creating long-term platforms to reshape the future of humanity through its 3 main pillars: THINK, XCHANGE and ACT.We are based in the capital of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh, with offices planned globally.Reporting to the CEO, serve as a subject matter mater expert on sustainability and handling inquiries, developing action plans, and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of sustainability related communications.Position Responsibilities

• Provide thought leadership and drive global understanding on the equitable application of sustainability measures, and specifically ESG standards, objectives, targets, ratings, and disclosures in emerging markets.
• Lead the research and analysis required to prioritize FII Institutes view on the ESG debate, including facilitating the equitable inclusion of companies from emerging markets in key ESG indices.
• Lead FII Institutes ESG engagement strategy with investors, asset managers, ESG thought leaders, ESG rating agencies, sustainability reporting agencies, the media, and the public.
• Monitor ESG global trends and advise on their implications for FII Institutes focus areas, as well as changes in the regulatory or capital markets environment regarding ESG disclosures and their implications for FII Institute investments and for emerging markets.
• Monitor relevant shifts in the landscape of ESG investors, asset managers, ESG analysts, academic thought leaders, and regulators in different regions.
• Promote the advancement of a new system of ESG measurement, infrastructure and governance capabilities, and the development of processes, roles, systems, and controls to improve ESG performance and disclosure capabilities in emerging markets.
• Conduct ESG surveys to identify issues and priority areas relevant to corporations in emerging markets, including investor concerns and priorities.
• Integrate ESG into FII Institutes investment decisions and strategic planning.
• Develop ESG screening criteria for FII Institute investments.
