Should you require any adjustments to assist during the application/hiring process please advise us.Project: This is an opportunity to be involved in the delivery of major sports stadiums and associated projects in Saudi Arabia. Mace is currently bidding for this programme which will require high-calibre and experienced people to lead teams throughout each phase of the project.The role will lead environmental projects, including conducting environmental assessments, developing solutions to environmental problems, and implementing remediation plans.To develop and implement strategies to minimise environmental impacts and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing project teams, including assigning tasks, setting goals, and providing feedback and guidance.
  • Preparing environmental reports, including compliance reports, impact assessments, and remediation plans.
  • Conducting fieldwork, including site assessments, sampling, and monitoring.
  • Coordinating with clients, stakeholders, and other professionals to ensure that the project meets their needs and expectations.
  • Reviewing and approving design specifications, construction plans, and budget estimates.
  • Ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
  • Participating in business development activities, including identifying potential clients, preparing proposals, and presenting to clients.
  • Demonstrating leadership and core competency in design as required to coordinate between a multi-disciplinary team for complex/fast-track project delivery.
  • Providing design management team with the required update/timely feedback to ensure a cohesive operational unit and ensuring optimum use of team skills monitoring work assignments against timelines, compliance with policies/processes development/implementation of action plans to address performance gaps.
  • Providing leadership in the area of design review to ensure required coordination between specialist disciplines for timely design delivery.
  • Working closely with the design manager, design consultant and internal specialist design discipline teams.
  • Reviewing overall design status with the design management team and recommend corrective action where necessary.
  • Demonstrating a logical approach to mitigate complex design issues and communicate solutions within the team/to the design consultant.
