Libera is mandated to hire an Engineering manager on multiple Disciplines (Accomodation, Hull Outfitting, Machinery Outfitting, Naval Architecture and Structural Engineering)This job role is to ensure to provide consultation regarding Accomodation, Hull Outfitting, Machinery Outfitting, Naval Architecture and Structural Engineering and gives an expertise supervision of the overall detail/production drawings in Ship Building.Key Responsibilities:

• Consult the Accomodation, Hull Outfitting, Machinery Outfitting, Naval Architecture and Structural discipline engineers.
• Create Master Engineering Plan of New Project considering Construction Schedule, Procurement and Detail/Production MP/MP.
• Evaluate Engineering Manpower with analysing changeable design workload for the Mechanical Division and Deploy engineers where needed.
• Develop and structure the divisions engineering capabilities for the Discipline in line with the departments strategic development plan.
• Contribute to the professional development of employees by providing training and mentoring.
• Monitor and ensure achievement of key performance indicators for the engineering discipline.
• Assist the department manager in development and implementation of process and procedures and ERM/CAD system implementation in the engineering.
• To provide consultation in ensuring appropriate checking & review Traffic system, Seating, HVAC, Supporting of piping.
• Provide guidance Update drawings according to result of feedback with each party of Clients, Classification Societies, Operation/Commissioning team, Vendors, and sub-contractors.
• Generate required technical information for production using CAD/CAM/ERM system.
• Support projects and production ensuring that detail/productions design deliverables are provided in a timely manner.
• Support for commissioning team to Arrange/Manage the service engineers from vendors for commissioning.
• Attend/Manage the major commissioning, test, and trial.
• Establish and ensure the use of standard engineering details for the discipline.
• Contribute to the professional development of employees by providing training and mentoring.
• Support the commercial team and provide technical assistance when required for Bids and Proposals.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of the engineering deliverables for the discipline and ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) responsibilities.

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or Control &Instrumentation Engineering or Naval Architecture Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 18+ years experience in engineering department of any ship building industry, 5 years of which is in managerial or similar capacity.
• Sound knowledge of International marine Rules & amp; Regulations (IMO convention, Codes etc.), Classification Society Rules, Flag state national Rules, Industrial standards &guidelines
• Exposure to 2D AutoCAD and 3D design tools like AVEVA.
• Exposure to equipment sizing and calculations in jack up rigs or ships.
• Demonstrated high order interpersonal skills and the ability to operate within a multinational environment.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate others regarding continuous improvement.
