Supports the mechanical, civil and landscape Inspectors with all electrical-related support inspection activities.
Responsible for conducting field inspections, tests, evaluations, verifications, and documentation of the Contractor?s inspections within all electrical systems, including lighting, small power, fire alarm system, diesel generators, electrical panels, ICT and LAN, earthing and bonding and lightning, UPS, CBS, electrical control systems and all other electrical systems.
Prepares inspection reports and site records as required within the Contract, Client, or PMC staff.
May act in an advisory capacity to senior management personnel on engineering-related matters.
Verifies contractors? compliance with approved method statements and ITPs.
Monitors progress against the approved works program and the contractor?s weekly/monthly forecasts.
Reports on the reasons for slippage against agreed targets.
Intervene proactively to prevent delay.
Assists with the coordination of contractors? works.
Accurately records all delay events.
Recommend remedial and/or recovery measures to mitigate the delay.
Monitor contractors? compliance with QA/QC requirements.
Monitor the performance of the supervision consultant.
Review the resources provided by the supervision consultant against the projects requirements.
Attend weekly site safety meetings.
Contribute to logistics plan updates and logistics procedures.
Monitor completion site processes (testing and commissioning, snagging and disengaging).
Verify the contractor?s progress against daily/weekly/monthly reports.
Ability to work within a multi-cultural environment and with multi-disciplinary staff.
