Job Description

Drilling SuperintendentAre you passionate about optimizing clients drilling program?Do you like to work with cutting-edge drilling technology?Join our Team!Baker Hughes offers a plant-wide, holistic suite of machine condition monitoring and protection hardware, software and services that help achieve the highest level of asset reliability possible.Partner with the bestAs a Drilling Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing the IWS&S Wellsite Supervisors in LSTK/Integrated Operations projects for Baker Hughes. You will also manage several wellsites and act as the main focal point interacting with the customer, leading all elements of the operations including Baker Hughes products, services, and contracted parties.As a Drilling Superintendent, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and ensuring Baker Hughes safety culture at the wellsites and in the office.
  • Ensuring all business activities are in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Core Values
  • Providing direct instruction and supervision to the IWS&S Wellsite Supervisors on day-to-day regarding wellsite activities and operations
  • Managing skilled application of drilling engineering and well planning, drill string design and downhole dynamics, pore pressure/fracture pressure determination, drilling fluid management, hydraulics, drill bit selection
  • Provides advice and direction to customers and third-party wellsite resources as appropriate
  • Ensures well control best practices are followed as per industry standard, client, and Baker Hughes requirements
Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
  • Have a minimum of 10+ years in drilling with at least 5+ years as a Wellsite Leader
  • Have good oral and written communication skills.
  • Have effective problem identification and solution skills
