Job Description

Required Skills

  • Develop and implement data loss prevention strategies and policies.
  • Configure and maintain DLP solutions and tools, such as Symantec, McAfee, or other relevant products.
  • Create and manage DLP rules, policies, and incident response procedures.
  • Collaborate with business units to classify and label sensitive data.
  • Define data handling and protection requirements based on classification.
  • Monitor data flows to identify potential security incidents and policy violations.
  • Investigate and respond to DLP alerts and incidents, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks.
  • Enforce DLP policies to prevent unauthorized data access, transmission, and sharing.
  • Implement encryption and access controls as needed to protect data.

  • Forcepoint DLP
  • Symantec DLP
  • Microsoft/ Trellix - IRM
  • Get visibility - data discovery
  • Sealpath - data classification
Qualification
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field with some industry certifications.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a DLP Engineer.
