• Responsible for implementing and managing an effective quality management framework for RSG portfolio to ensure sustainable delivery of world-class service standards across all functions. The Director shall actively promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across all RSG portfolios.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead on developing and maintaining the RSG quality management system that aligns with industry best practices, RSG requirements, and all regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for managing the quality surveillance team and their initiatives/objectives/deliverables in a timely manner or as directed by the department head.
• Responsible for ensuring surveillance and monitoring of activities ensuring compliance with processes, procedures, and contract requirements to achieve the required level of construction quality.
• Responsible for ensuring process and content audits related to construction are delivered efficiently and effectively including all reporting deliverables.
• Regularly report quality-related data and trends to the Senior Management to indicate the degree of compliance, quality failures, and improvements
• Ensure quality surveillance and monitoring of activities to confirm compliance with processes, procedures, and contract requirements.
• Ensure all quality-related documents are readily accessible to the relevant individuals.
• Provide support to management by ensuring a quality framework and developing relevant policies and processes.
• Assess and rate the degree to which quality standards are followed across assigned projects/Assets.
• Actively seek out and consider the latest trends, methods, and tools in quality assurance and continuous improvements
• Manage the implementation of quality systems and practices to enforce quality management principles and embrace continuous improvement.
• Ensure continuous monitoring of compliance with the quality standards is a part of the daily routine.
• Ensure reporting on quality aspects is being carried out diligently and accurately.
• Coordinate periodical audit of compliance with quality procedures, policies, and standards.
• Ensure that quality surveillance practices represent the RSG project management in a positive light and take measures to avoid any actions that might bring the organization into disrepute.
• Create informative reports, presentations, and executive summaries.
• Lead and manage ISO quality management accreditations.

Policies, Systems, Processes, Procedures, Standards, and Reports

• Follow all relevant functional policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports to meet corporate and functional requirements, policies, and standards.

Safety, Quality & Environment

• Apply safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, high-quality products/services delivery, and a responsible environmental attitude.

Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of the departments systems, processes, and practices considering international best practice, improvement of business processes, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.

Job Requirements - Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• A minimum of (23) years of experience in the quality & construction industry
• MP/PRINCE 2/PMP certified or equivalent (preferred)
• ISO 9001:2015 certified auditor shall thoroughly know the processes involved.
• Microsoft Office package and excellent working knowledge in software such as ACONEX.
• Knowledge of drafting quality documents

Skills:

• Be able to clearly demonstrate a successful track record of delivering large-scale complex projects to the highest quality standards.
• Inherent and comprehensive understanding of QA/QC aspects throughout the project life cycle.
• Managing large teams effectively and efficiently
• Able to manage key stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to understand and document workflows and business processes.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standard
• Ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities and work under strict deadlines.
• Well-versed in data-driven decision-making and structured problem-solving skills.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have high standards of integrity and ethical practice.
• Able to challenge the status quo when appropriate leveraging the organizations existing strengths.

Job Context:

• Required to lead the surveillance team in developing, implementing, and managing quality management systems across the RSG projects from inception to operations. Must have the ability to plan work assignments, prioritize tasks, and deliver deadlines accurately.
