Director of Operations

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Operations Director to join our team at Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya. The Operations Director will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our hotel, including oversight of staff, guest services, and the hotels operational performance. This role requires an individual with a strong leadership background in the hospitality industry and a proven track record in high-level operational management.You will be responsible to: Oversee the daily operations of the Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya to ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction. Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures. Demonstrate strong leadership attributes to develop diverse talent. Engage with the other departments to evolve an inclusion work culture aligned with Hyatt Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy and goals. Manage relationships with partners/vendors. Engage with guests and stakeholders to gather feedback and improve service delivery. Review operational budgets and ensure the hotel is adhering to these financial targets. Oversee the hotels operational staff and provide leadership, guidance, and support. Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filled and monitor compliance with laws and regulations. Identify operational bottlenecks and develop solutions to overcome them. Maintain a deep understanding of the markets and industry of the company. Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field. Proven experience in an operational management role within the hospitality industry, ideally within a high-end hotel environment. 2 years experience as EAM or Director of Operation in 5-star hotel. Strong knowledge of the hotel/ hospitality industry and its working standards. Exceptional leadership abilities with a hands-on approach and lead by example attitude. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make effective decisions under pressure. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in English and Arabic is highly desirable. Strong understanding of customer service, principles and practices.
