Job Description

Our Client:A leading Cybersecurity company based in Saudi Arabia who are actively looking for a DFIR specialist to be based in Riyadh.Role:As a Cyber Security DFIR Specialist, you will be responsible for investigating, identifying and responding to cyber security incidents. You will work to analyze data, find security weaknesses, and mitigate threats to the organizations systems and networks. You will also provide guidance and support to other members of the IT team on best practices to prevent future security breaches.Responsibilities:

  • Conduct digital forensic investigations on security incidents to determine the root cause and extent of the attack.
  • Analyze data and information to identify and mitigate cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.
  • Develop and maintain incident response plans and protocols to address potential cyber security incidents.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, threats, and best practices in digital forensics and incident response.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all security incidents are properly handled and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to IT staff to help prevent future cyber security incidents.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures to prevent security breaches.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure that all security-related tasks are executed in a coordinated manner.
  • Communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in incident response, digital forensics, or a related field.
  • Candidate must be Saudi national as this role is part of our clients Saudization project.
  • Strong knowledge of computer networks, operating systems, and security technologies.
  • Experience with forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, and X-Ways Forensics.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Relevant industry certifications, such as GCFA, GCFE, or CISSP, are a plus.
