Job Description

Oversee the planning, management of the development of strategic roads projects and road improvement initiatives for the client from inception to completion, according to agreed commercial and business strategies, budgets, and agreed program schedules.Control and manage design risks through the project life cycle, including recommendations of operators, architect and consultant selections and contracting methods.Client DetailsOur client is a development company focusing on large scale projects in the travel, culture & tourism space within KSA.DescriptionFunctional Responsibilities:Oversee the develop the operational capabilities required to operate and manage developed assets that the client decides to operate. Manage and oversee the contracting process and oversee the performance of asset operators.Oversee the end-to-end asset management and operations for assets directly developed by the client in line with the Asset Management and Operations strategy.Oversee the process of tendering of concessions of assets fully developed and operated by external players in line with the Asset Management and Operations policies developed.Oversee the process for the provision of guarantee/funding for assets developed and operated by external players.Recommend and implement agreed development processes and standards with Program Managers and Cost Consultants: Including BIM modelling, project administration and reporting through to completion of projects and handover.Oversee the preparation and coordinate strategies for Sector procurement (with Design and Delivery) for the contracting of designers, consultants and contractors; recommending methodology according to project needs, design submissions, and construction work programs. the preparation and coordinate strategies for Sector procurement (with Design and Delivery) for the contracting of designers, consultants and contractors; recommending methodology according to project needs, design submissions, and construction work programs.Managerial Responsibilities:Contribute to the sectors short and long term strategy from the Departments perspective in line with the clients overall vision and mission.Develop the Departments strategy, objectives, and KPIs annual operational plans and ensure plan execution is meeting the targets.Prepare and submit the Departments annual budget for approval taking all planned activities and necessary investments into consideration by monitoring the financial performance.Oversee the development, maintenance, implementation and adherence of the department policies and procedures as well as the overall performance of the department and ensure KPIs are well developed, cascaded, communicated and monitored.Ensure effective staffing, professional development and deployment of staff of the sector in consultation with the Sector Executive.Direct the Departments connection to its customers, whether internal or external, to ensure customer needs are met effectively.ProfileBachelors degree in Architecture, Design and Construction Management, or Architectural Technology (Masters Preferred)15+ Years of relevant experience with 5 years in a managerial roleJob OfferBe a part of a unique opportunity to lead the strategy, design and delivery of large scale roads & transport projectsCompetitive salary package with attractive benefits.
