Job Description

Parsons KAFD is looking for an amazingly talented Design Manager - Civil/Infrastructure to join our team!In this role, you will join a leading professional engineering, construction, and cost management team working on multiple projects in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD). KAFD is a master plan development positioned to become Riyadh s new Central Business District that combines a mixture of world-class commercial offices, hotels, retail spaces, and contemporary residences in addition to smart city solutions that redefine urban living.What Youll Be Doing: Lead and guide the Infra design teams that created the user experience. Ensuring civil/structural drawings are produced on time, of high quality, and easy to decipher. Collaborating with engineering disciplines team and with other departments to achieve design goals. Working with Client to ensure that their expectations are met. Completes the most complex and challenging infrastructure designs and layouts for the projects complete systems. Overseeing the design process using technical expertise. Assignments typically involve design elements for which there may be no established precedents and require anticipating problems at the outset to provide appropriate solutions. Ensure that clear and accurate reporting of progress, pending, and completed deliverables is maintained. Ensures compliance with required specifications, tolerances, safety factors, and client requirements. Performs interdisciplinary reviews and coordinates data to ensure a compatible design. Understands and applies Local & International commonly used design standards and methods. Keeping up to date with changing building legislation and codes of practice relating to design. Ensuring compliance with standards, codes, and local rules and regulations. Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate. Avoiding errors and reducing financial risk during construction Maintaining thorough documentation of the design process Creates and presents final design recommendations through the appropriate presentation media. Attending, hosting, or coordinating department meetings Delegating work where necessary and reviewing that work when it has been completed. Flexibility and dependability to work in multifaceted working environments. The ability to produce quality projects consistently.
