They are currently seeking a Design Director. The role would develop Programme & Project engineering standards, policies, procedures, and lead all technical design efforts ensuring quality designs are in line with the project scope, corporate standards, authority regulations, budget, and project goals.DescriptionManage the team of design consultants, building and infrastructure contractors through the various phases of a project lifecycle.Ensuring, through various project teams and planning support, that project programming and reporting is accurate and timelyAssists in preparation and/or review of Tender Documentation Packages comprising of Instructions to Bidders, Contract Form, General Terms Conditions, Bid Forms, etc.Monitor the construction progress as well as quality and execution as per approved technical documentation and project execution planEnsure works are progressed in compliance with Design Guidelines, Brand Standards, Best Practices, and any applicable International StandardsProvide ongoing liaison with Client / Developer and key Consultants for coordination and guidance in the interpretation and clarification of operational requirements and standardsProfileBachelors Degree in Architecture or relevant fieldMinimum 20 years of experience in the design and construction industry, specializing in the programme and project management of large mixed-use developments and large-scale hospitality, commercial and high-end residential projects in the GCC regionStrong leadership skills and experience in managing / coordinating multiple teams across all project phasesExperience in streamlining technical / design-related processesAwareness of Quality and Environmental Systems and the ability to work to the expected requirements of these systems.Working knowledge in Health, Safety and Environment Management SystemsJob OfferCompetitive monthly salary, inclusive of basic, housing and transport allowanceA chance to work for a giga-project in Saudi Arabia
