Evaluating patient skin conditions by screening diseases.
Performing and supervising all privilege dermatology procedures on the skin including skin punch biopsy.
Provides supervision to residents/trainees.
Ensures the availability in all on call services and response within the time frame in accordance to the hospital policies.
Follows all related hospital policies and procedures.
Carries out full range of in-patient and /or outpatient duties as assigned in accordance with individual approved clinical privilege.
Refers patients to appropriate specialized clinicians.
Abides by the medical staff bylaws, code of the medical ethics, rules and regulations of the medical staff and those specific pf the department/sections.
Provides the highest quality of medical care for the patients for who he/she is responsible/
Keeps informed of current developments in the field of dermatology and participate in discussions, lectures and in-service training.
Receives consultations from other departments for dermatology and respond to them. Assesses, reassesses, and reviews patient in ER and wards.
