Job Description

Our ClientA Leading Telco/ Digital Solution Provider in the MENA region.Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the development and implementation of the data governance framework, including the management of data, operating model, data policies, standards, and workflow for data ingestion, data quality, metadata, master data, data privacy, BI, and data life cycle management
  • Serve as a liaison between Business and Functional areas and technology to ensure that data-related business requirements are clearly defined, communicated, well understood, and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning.
  • Establish data quality process, identify data quality issue patterns, apply remediation plans, implement data controls, and manage data quality remediation strategies.
  • Assist clients in ensuring all metadata loaded within the data catalog is accompanied by descriptions, tags, details, classifications, and security tags.
  • Assist clients in populating Business Glossary to ensure all the business terms are well defined, and its relationship with sources is clear for it to act as a source for the technical stewards to prepare data dictionary.
  • Conduct data maturity assessment and assist in developing strategic roadmaps
  • Perform highly complex analyses of data requirements and existing business processes and information systems.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in Data Management & Governance field in ICT/Digital solutions industry
  • Bachelors or Masters DegreeinComputer Science,Computer Engineering, IT, Statistics
  • Certified in Data Governance like CDMP or other
  • Experience in Data Conversion (Conventional, complex ETL migrations)
  • Hand on experience in one or more Data Governance or Data Quality tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, OvalEdge, Erwin, Collibra, etc.)
  • Deep knowledge of data governance, data quality, data catalog,metadata management, document management, and data privacy.
  • Arabic Speaker is preferred
