Job Description

Job Purpose: The main responsibility of Data and AI Analyst includes procuring, preparing, cleansing and modelling data using machine learning models and new analytical methods.The analyst will be responsible for developing new applications and systems that utilize AI to improve performance and efficiency, make better decisions, cut costs and increase profits Also, the AI Data Analyst is responsible for Designing and creating data reports to help stakeholders make better decisions.Data & AI Analysis is responsible to support the design and development of strategic direction and technology roadmap. Data and AI Analyst will analyze yard and products data and deliver smart solutions to the stakeholders. Assist in the development and implementation of business applications, systems and procedures; engineering design packages, in-house & capital projects within recognized fields.Key Accountabilities & Working Relationships: KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data
  • Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Oracle, R, MATLAB, and Python
  • Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation.
  • Experience in handling reporting packages like Business Objects, programming (Javascript, XML, or ETL frameworks), databases
  • Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS to be used for data set analyzing
  • Adept at using data processing platforms like Hadoop and Apache Spark
  • Knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI
  • Knowledge of how to create and apply the most accurate algorithms to datasets in order to find solutions
  • Problem-solving skills

  • Adept at queries, writing reports, and making presentations
  • Team-working skills
  • Verbal and Written communication skills
  • Proven working experience in data analysis and Artificial Intelligence

  • Transforming the machine learning models into APIs that other applications can interact with
  • Conducting statistical analysis and interpreting the results so that they can guide the organizations decision-making process
  • Automating important infrastructure for the data science team
  • Developing infrastructures for data transformation and ingestion
  • Building AI models
  • Explaining the usefulness of the AI models they create to a wide range of individuals within the organization, including stakeholders and product managers
WORKING RELATIONSInternal Interactions:Frequent contact with Senior Engineer for direction and guidance, and with customers for review and evaluation of application requirements.External Interactions:Frequent contact with vendors for product information and technical support.Who we are looking for: QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEEducation:Minimum of bachelors degree in IT/Computer, Science, Business or EngineeringProfessional Qualifications:(Certifications & Accreditations)IT Industry Accredited and related certificate e.g., ITIL, MCSA, CCA, SAS, CAP.Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
  • Ability to work independently and under tight time pressures - planning,prioritizing,and controlling own workload.
