Key Responsibility:Cybersecurity Strategy:Develop and maintain a cybersecurity strategy that aligns to the organizations business strategy.Collaborate with stakeholders in the organization and with third parties when identifying future cybersecurity strategy requirements.Ensure that organizational cybersecurity strategy is effectively addressed by cybersecurity policies and related documents.Develop and maintain appropriate cybersecurity policies and related documentation to ensure the organizations critical infrastructure is protected and strategically aligned.Obtain resources to develop and implement effective processes to meet strategic cybersecurity goals.Promote awareness of cyber policy and strategy as appropriate among the organizations management.Risk Management:Carry out a cybersecurity risk assessment.Ensure that appropriate controls are in place to mitigate risk and address privacy concerns during a risk assessment process.Work with others to implement and maintain a cybersecurity risk management program.Ensure that appropriate actions are taken to mitigate risk in the event of a cybersecurity incident.Manage vulnerability remediation effectively.Communicate effectively with third parties regarding cybersecurity incidents, threats, and mitigations.Budgeting & Business Continuity:Manage financial aspects of cybersecurity, including budgeting and resourcing.Effectively communicate financial aspects of cybersecurity related activities to senior management.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery programs meet organizational requirements.Obtain relevant resources to implement and maintain the cybersecurity aspects of an effective business continuity plan.Governance & Compliance:Evaluate the effectiveness of the organizations cybersecurity controls against its strategic goals.Determine and align cybersecurity requirements of all IT systems with organizational strategy.Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and standards.Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure effective governance of cybersecurity practices.Communicate the organizations cybersecurity status during legal and regulatory reviews.Ensure adherence to global and local cybersecurity standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).Monitor regulatory requirements and update cybersecurity policies to reflect legal and compliance needs.Policies, Processes & Procedures:Direct the development and oversee the implementation of functional policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements.You will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position
