Jobs at this level are responsible for evaluating risks to STC?s technology system?s security, evaluating potential solutions and proposing clear plans, procedures and budgets for achieving a secure technology environment. Also, they are responsible for understanding new and emerging technologies and supervising the work and performance of subordinates.Key Responsibilities? Manage day?to-day team operations within a specified scope, by undertaking related work processes and ensuring accuracy.? Participate in the development, implementation and communication of technology systems security policies, processes and procedures and ensures compliance to relevant procedural/legislative requirements.? Develop systems to measure; report and monitor an enterprise view of aggregated, quantified risk exposure to address technology system inadequacies/vulnerabilities and ensure business continuity.? Contribute in contingency plans and assists in the implementation of BC/DR (Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery) project phases (planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing).? Participate in the development of technology systems security budget and monitors financial performance to ensure alignment with budget.? Participate in projects and initiatives, as may be required by the reporting senior.? Perform operations, maintenance and administration of all security systems in line with defined policies and procedures.? Provide recommendation on technology systems security matters to users across sectors and contributes towards creating security awareness throughout STC.? Evaluate new systems, components, products etc. for security protection and comments on their applicability within STC.? Escalate major problems to the appropriate department or section and ensures follow up and resolution in a timely manner.? Evaluate potential risks (both internal and external) and operational scenarios that may damage STC?s operations, establishes key priorities and develops proposals for protecting STC?s technology systems environment.? Support team members and resolves routine queries to ensure work continuity.
