SummaryCost Controller is responsible for controlling the project costs; this includes planning, developing,controlling, and forecasting the projects budget. Evaluating project and conducting project cost/benefit analysis. The cost control engineer will be based in the head office and visiting the siteduring the construction project as required to liaise / coordinate the cost related matters withthe site teams.Responsibilities1- Extract materials, manpower, machinery, tools, equipment, and subcontractors? budgetfrom awarded projects tender documents.2- Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying andchecking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensurethat all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.3- Evaluating project and conducting project cost/ benefit analysis.4- Planning, directing, budgeting, scheduling, monitoring, controlling & reporting differentprojects.5- Provide planning and cost controlling support for all projects which includes variationreporting, monitoring of milestone progress to the preparation of customer billingprocesses, etc.6- Ensure reconciliation on a weekly and monthly basis between project cost reports andAccounting Department cost and billing information7- Set?up work breakdown and project coding structures.8- Review cost commitment and expenditure information for all cost elements, for input tothe computerized cost control and reporting system on a consistent basis and ensurethat all information received is accurate and correctly input.9- Assist in developing and managing project budget in consultation with Project Team.10- Analyze variance in cost and schedule and recommend corrective actions.11- Recommend solution and recovery plans to address schedule and cost impacts.12- Prepare documentation to support scope changes in relation to budget, estimate andforecast.13- Provide accurate and timely financial cost status reports including maintaining cash.14- WBS Cost allocation and Cash flow projection & relevant monitoring.Aliya Executive Contracting Company15- Cost controller will be involved with procurement department in term of subcontractspayment terms prior RFQ Floating considering Main Contract terms and additional roleduring PO approval process.16- Undertaking preparation and approval of Cost impact of any possible extension of time.17- Cost Controller will be involved with tendering process, especially in contractual &payment terms aspects to secure project cash flow and to ensure optimum costallocation and breakdown.
