To provide medical and clinical professional assistance to the Superintendent, Medical Affairs in the supervision and monitoring of the KJO contracted medical staff activities covering medical practices, referrals and MTC (Medical Technical Committee) documentations to ensure that employees and dependents are provided with the highest quality of medical service.Applies approved section policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.Applies the day-to-day operations assigned for the Medical Affairs Division to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.Monitors the activities of third-party medical practitioners to ensure that they perform according to the highest standards of the company and meets the expectations of the patients.Reviews and processes referral letters and discuss with the attending physician at the Medical Designated Facilities (NDF) to ensure that all required medical services indicated on the referral are provided to the employee and dependents.Meets and discusses with the patient or patient?s family to discuss approval or non-approval of medical service based on the coverage of the contract to ensure that concerned parties are properly informed of any issues in order to plan for the necessary steps to be taken.
