Job Description

A Civil Design Engineer is required for a leading company in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering design. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing civil engineering projects, ensuring that they meet all necessary regulations and standards, including SEC standards. They will work closely with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the successful completion of projects.Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and buildings.
  2. Ensure that all designs meet relevant regulations and standards, including SEC standards.
  3. Check and review drawings, maintain a list of documents/drawings, remove obsolete documents, and maintain records.
  4. Verify conformity of executed works to drawings and technical specifications.
  5. Maintain the Document Transmittal Sheet and track design progress on a daily basis.
  6. Track the baseline schedule for design and plan to finish on time.
  7. Comply with SEC standards and provide instructions for drawing modification.
  8. Coordinate and attend meetings with the design department of clients and consultants.
  9. Extract design requirement information from the project technical specification.
  10. Prepare complete submittal packages, including technical and commercial documents.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering design.
  3. Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including SEC standards.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to work effectively in a team.
