Job Description

Job Summary:To ensure accurate recording and maintenance of financial records of SBU and timely preparation of Unit financial statementsKey Responsibilities:

  • ÿPrepare the Income Statement and Balance Sheet & Cash Flow for the business/ location in compliance with standard accounting practices
  • ÿEnsure submission thereof to the Finance Manager on time for review
  • ÿAssistÿthe Manager ? Finance to comply with reporting requirements as the need arises
  • Provide inputs to the Manager ? SBU Finance to accurately estimate cash flow requirements
  • Provide timely and accurate inputs for Costing reports
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to optimize cost and increase efficiency
  • Ensure adequate accurate maintenance of the Fixed Asset and other financial registries
  • ÿManage creation of ?Asset? in the Fixed asset register as necessary, by accurately recording the ?Asset Class?, specifying ?life of the asset? and ?rate of depreciation?
  • ÿUpdate and maintain records in asset registry? addition and deletion of assets
  • ÿManage timely and accurate computation of depreciation on the assets in compliance with the corporate policy
  • ÿMaintain General Ledger in BaaN through timely and accurate recording of transactions
  • ÿSupport Manager Finance in ensuring timely generation of the IDAC Trial Balance
  • Coordinate with Corporate Finance team as necessary in issues related to Trial Balance
