The Cancer Care Nurse 3 provides advanced.-level nursing care in the assigned nursing unit and is responsible for supporting operational processes .- which includes but is not limited to maintaining high standards of patient care, assisting in resolving complex clinical issues, mentoring intermediate.-level nurses and collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team .- in order to ensure efficient care delivery.Strategic Roles & Responsibilities %7Strategic Roles & Responsibilities:Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at improving the assigned units nursing practicesParticipate in the development of protocols and processes to enhance patient safety and operational efficiencyPursue high staff engagementObtain high patient experienceAchieve and sustain highquality of care and patient safetySupport the empowerment of nurses through the enculturation of the JHAH nursing Professional Practice ModelOperational Roles & Responsibilities %93Operational Roles & Responsibilities:Deliverhighquality nursing care services focusing on complex casesAssist in managing workflow ensuring proper resource utilization and providing mentorship to junior nursesEnsure adherence to clinical protocols and participates in the evaluation of patient outcomesAchieve andor Maintain the mandated set of activities for level 3 which is a minimum total of 20 points in at least four categories within each 12month cycle as outlined in the Clinical Advancement ProgramUtilize the nursing process to assess plan implement evaluate and document patient care from admission through discharge specific to the patients ageProvide nursing care patientfamily education consistent with the plan of care and needs of the patients with respect for the patients privacy dignity personal preference and culture demonstrating acceptance caring and empathy utilizing appropriate resources when applicablePrecept new hires and trainees during the probation training period and participates in making recommendations regarding progress and training needsRespond promptly and effectively to emergency and lifesaving situations by utilizing clinical skills critical thinking and evidencebased practices to ensure optimal patient outcomesPerform a wide range of nursing procedures with attention to accuracy patient safety and comfort while maintaining a safe clean and organized environment for the patient familyvisitors and staffManage patients with invasive and noninvasive hemodynamic monitoring which includes close monitoring and assessments of patients treatment and care coordinationMinimum Education Required:3 years International Diploma or Bachelor Degree in NursingProfessional Certifications RequiredCurrent licensure as a professional registered nurse Basic Life Support (BLS) Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Certification Online (Mandatory for Chemotherapy and ImmunotherapyCompetency) ELNEC End.-of.-Life Care Training (To be completed within one year of hiring)Years of ExperienceMinimum 4 years of Nursing Experience :including 2 years in Cancer Care or related field.Languages:English:Fully Proficient ; Arabic:PreferredYou will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position
