Project Overview:Bechtel has been involved over the last 80 years in some of the world?s busiest and most complex airport projects, including Greenfield and Brownfield developments. In the GCC, we have held significant roles on King Khalid, King Fahad, Dubai, Hamad, and Muscat international airports. As we consider the future of aviation globally and in the GCC, we are very enthusiastic about the future of aviation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.We are currently considering candidates with aviation, other transportation or complex public accessible building project experience to provide project management consultancy services (including technical, commercial and construction management) for a major infrastructure project in Riyadh should it be awarded to Bechtel. This posting serves as an expression of interest only.Job Summary:?In this role, you will report to the BIM/GIS Manager and be responsible for implementing 2D CAD processes to support delivery of the Project.Major Responsibilities:?Ensuring coordination of 2D CAD activities (i.e., coordinate systems, standard templates, design review, etc.,) are shared and complied to among the design subcontractors?Provide 2D CAD production support to project teams, assists with maintenance of the: Common Data Environment (CDE), quality checking deliverables (2D), and deliverable generation to satisfy project CAD uses.?Developing/Enhancing, communicating and institutionalizing standardized CAD workflows to the project stakeholders and contractors (e.g., Design, Construction, and Project Management).Supports design and construction reviews and coordination.?Visits job sites to facilitate 2D CAD discussions and execution?Ensures the 2D CAD deliverables meet the Project information requirements, and industry wide standards.?Assist in capture of lessons learned and the implementation of improved workflows.?Single and multi-discipline design coordination ensuring best practice is followed.?Education and Experience Requirements:Requires bachelors degree (or international equivalent) or relevant work experience with 5+ yrs in a BIM role.?Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams in a project delivery environment.?Possesses good communication skills and the ability to relay 2D CAD solutions to engineering and construction professionals.Required Knowledge and Skills:?Have experience using Common Data Environments (CDEs) such as ACC/BIM360, Aconex, Revizto, ProjectWise etc. ?Proficiency in 2D CAD design authoring tools like AutoCAD, Bentley Microstation.?Familiarity with the BIM Forum LOD framework and ISO 19650 suite of standards and 3D BIM modelling software such as Revit and Navisworks is highly desirable but not essential.?Understands project workflows from design, estimation, construction administration and coordination?Collaborates well in a team environmentAbility to manage priorities and take on additional evolving responsibilitiesYou will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position
