Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and overhauling of steam and hot water boilers.Conduct burner tuning, calibration, and troubleshooting for efficient combustion.Carry out boiler repair work including valves, feed pumps, pressure parts, and refractory maintenance.Monitor and maintain chemical dosing for boiler water treatment.Perform boiler water and feed water testing (pH, TDS, hardness, alkalinity, phosphate, etc.) and take corrective actions.Maintain records of boiler log sheets, test reports, and maintenance schedules.Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and boiler operation guidelines.Coordinate with vendors for spare parts procurement and service contracts.Qualifications & Skills:Diploma / ITI in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Boiler competency certificate preferred).In-depth knowledge of:Boiler operation, maintenance, and troubleshootingBurner systems (Oil/Gas/dual fuel)Chemical treatment programs and water testingSteam systems and condensate recoveryGood understanding of boiler safety standards and energy efficiency practices.Ability to read technical manuals and equipment drawings.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
