This role ensures boilers operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all applicable regulations and codes.Key Responsibilities:• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair boilers, pressure vessels, and related systems.• Conduct routine inspections of boiler systems to ensure optimal functionality.• Test boiler water and add chemicals to prevent corrosion and harmful deposits.• Monitor boiler operation to identify malfunctions or inefficiencies.• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components of boiler systems.• Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.• Calibrate and adjust controls and safety devices.• Record maintenance data and generate reports on equipment status.• Comply with safety and environmental regulations, including OSHA standards.• Provide emergency repairs as needed and be on-call when required.Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred.• Certification or license as a Boiler Operator/Technician (varies by location).• Proven experience in boiler installation and repair.• Strong knowledge of heating systems, plumbing, and mechanical operations.• Familiarity with safety protocols and equipment handling.• Ability to read technical diagrams and work with precision tools.• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
