The role will be responsible to set up the bidding department and oversee the estimating and tendering process, along with all related activities involved in tender preparation and submission.Client DetailsOur client is a prominent family group with significant interests in the transportation industry.DescriptionMonitor tender portals to identify relevant contracts for bidding or market intelligence.Analyze and evaluate tender documents from a technical perspective to identify potential risk factors and ensure compliance with relevant standards.Evaluate proposals from both technical and commercial viewpoints.Collaborate with the procurement team to negotiate with approved vendors/suppliers and subcontractors for project supplies/materials, both pre and post tender.Provide the management team with comprehensive project information, including margin analysis, contingent liabilities, contractual rights, and remedies considered during tendering, in weekly meetings.Participate in pre-bid job ex-meetings and corporate/client presentation meetings when necessary.Ensure proper documentation and archiving of historical data for each quoted project.Conduct site visits during the bidding process.Maintain effective communication with technical staff for status updates.Supervise the preparation of specific proposal sections, as required.Ensure compliance with Request for Proposals (RFPs).Follow up on renewals of company documents with relevant departments.Gather information from departments for prequalification packages.Prepare and submit prequalification and registration packages within set timelines.ProfileThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of bidding experience with government tenders.Saudi national (preferred)Fluent in both Arabic and English.Bachelor degree in engineering preferably Industrial, Mechanical, or Electric/Electronics Engineering.Ability to pay close attention to details.Strong team working capabilities.A proactive approach, working effectively in coordinating activities and complex tasks, taking professional responsibility in all matters.Job OfferAn attractive package with benefits
