With a commitment to innovation and operational excellence, Eraf serves a diverse client base across the defense, logistics, and automotive sectors.Position Summary:The Automotive Procurement Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing automotive parts, components, and materials essential to the companys production and assembly lines. The role requires in-depth knowledge of automotive supply chains, cost optimization, and vendor relationship management to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement aligned with Erafs quality standards.Key Responsibilities: Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and manufacturers for automotive components and materials. Negotiate contracts, prices, and delivery terms with local and international vendors. Maintain updated records of purchases, pricing, delivery, and performance. Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and quality control teams to understand material requirements and specifications. Monitor market trends, raw material availability, and pricing to inform procurement strategy. Ensure on-time delivery of materials to support continuous production flow. Evaluate supplier performance through KPIs such as cost, quality, delivery, and service. Support cost-reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and supplier development. Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to track and manage inventory levels. Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards for all purchased goods.Qualifications: Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Min 35 years of experience in procurement within the automotive or manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of automotive parts, manufacturing processes, and supply chain logistics. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple procurement projects simultaneously. Familiarity with international sourcing, incoterms, and customs regulations is a plus.
